Chair yoga - is for those who find it difficult to get up and down off the yoga mat; those who are perhaps a little stiffer, but who wish to age strong and graceful.
Gentle yoga - is for all levels, moving slowly through a variety of poses, building strength through pure movement and ease.
Level 1 - just a little more energetic with the occasional challenge just to keep your yoga practice fresh.
Therapeutic yoga - I have just completed an intensive yoga therapy training to help my students reduce or eliminate pain. The class will focus on ease and pure movements of our joints, and from there we will build strength. If more personal attention is required, please consider a personal class at a mutually convenient time.
All classes are "Karma" classes - which means that the donation you give, will be passed on to charity.
So far this year, I have donated the proceeds of the classes($1500) to Breast Cancer fundraising events.
Suggested donations are $8 for 75 minute classes and $10 for 90 minute classes.
Classes are held at my home and are always drop-in, but I love to know who I am expecting, so a quick email is appreciated.
